Janet Pinnix-Ward has substantial experience fundraising and working with non-profit organizations. She has been involved with numerous community outreach and fundraising efforts, in addition to volunteering for organizations such as the United Way, Verizon Pioneers, Pittsburgh Women Shelters, Gwen’s Girls of Western PA, Western PA School for the Blind, National Council of Jewish Women and various volunteer programs through IBM Corporation. She has also served as a Bell Atlantic/United Way Ambassador and Speaker.  Janet currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Strength Courage and Wisdom Foundation, Inc.  

Janet graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and holds numerous certifications in Leadership and Training for Managers.  In 2018, she retired from IBM as a World Wide Marketing Merger and Acquisition Executive. Currently, Janet is the Director of Marketing and Sales with Industrial Testing Laboratory Service, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is pleased to serve BTCC as she was raised in the Homewood area of Pittsburgh.
