Jaron Paul is a dedicated human services professional who has experience working in non-profit and local government for over six years. Jaron’s focus has been in project management, administration and operations in which he has gained a wealth of experience working with United Way of Southwestern PA, and the Department of Human Services of Allegheny County (DHS), where he is currently employed. At United Way, he worked with an out-of-school time intermediary, Allegheny Partners for Out-of-School Time (APOST), to ensure accessibility to equitable, high quality out of school time programming. He is also certified to provide trainings to youth development practitioners in best practices for youth development. At DHS, he works to ensure a fair, equitable and transparent process for the human services solicited to provide necessary services to county residents. His focus and motivation are to provide more opportunities to thrive and succeed for underserved people and communities. Jaron graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and was born and raised on the east side of Pittsburgh. It is his privilege to serve on the board for BTCC.
